2016 Chosen Charity: Young Epilepsy
Young Epilepsy is the national charity working exclusively on behalf of the 112,000 children aged 25 and under and young people with epilepsy. With over 100 years expertise it provides world class diagnosis, assessment and rehabilitation for children and young people with epilepsy. The charity also carries out research into the condition and how it can be treated.
Young Epilepsy have a school and college campus in Lingfield, Surrey which provides education and residential services to children and young people with sever and complex epilepsy as well as other associated conditions such as autism and learning difficulties. They also support young people and their families who are living with epilepsy all over the UK.

* Approximately 600,000 people in the UK have epilepsy, this is equivalent to 1 in 103 people
* 112,000 of the people in the UK who have epilepsy are aged 5-25, it is these people Young Epilepsy support
* There are over 40 different types of epilepsy, it can affect anybody at any time.

In 2015, our chosen charity was Tree of Hope, which offers hope to the families of sick and disabled children in the United Kingdom and Ireland who need specialist medical surgery, treatment, therapy and equipment in order to free them from suffering, giving a better quality to their young lives. We are pleased to say we raised £1287.80.
In 2014, our chosen Charity was is Jigsaw South East, supporting children through the loss of a loved one. We are pleased to say we raised £986.00.
In 2013 our chosen charity was Step by Step; A School For Autistic Children based and we are so pleased to say that over the year we raised £1319.50.
